Peaceful Snow

Hi again.  I love the color combo of Aqua, Kraft and White.  This card was a challenge for CASE Study blog.  I used the Beautiful Blessings: Holiday and Snowflake Medley stamp sets from Papertrey Ink.
I took the challenge card below and flipped the design 180 degrees.  The stitche lines echo the stems of the flowers and the snowflakes represent the flowers.

Thanks for dropping by,

Winter Cottage

Hello, No snow yet here but we know it will come.  I do love the clean white and the sparkle of it all.  I hope my card catches some of the clean white and sparkle.  This is a single layer card.  All I did was score the bottom and folded it up to the front after tearing off part of it to create the snowdrift.  I used Stampin Up's Kiwi Kiss and Rich Razzelberry ink.  The house and tree stamps are from Inkadinkado.  Cardstock and greeting are from Papertrey Ink.

The Less is More challenge was to use a house on a single layer card.
The CAS-UAL Friday's blog challenge was to tear the edge on your project.

Santa in Plums

Hey there!  I had seen this color combo in a different card earlier in the week and thought it would be fun to use a a Christmas card.
I used Rich Razzelberry, Bravo Burgundy, Pale Plum and White ink all from Stampin' Up.  I started with a circle mask and rubbed the plum ink around the edges.  Then used the other part of the mask to rub white ink in the circle area. This was all done on Kraft cardstock.  I stamped the Santa in the Razzelberry ink and the lace in Burgundy ink.  I did a little shading with a Copic marker in a warm gray color.

The colorway is from the Play Date Cafe weekly color challenge.
My sketch is from the Craft's Meow Monthly sketch challenge
The CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week was to use tearing on your project.

Well that is it for now.  Thanks for stopping by!

Inky Love...

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Man, it is beautiful here today.  So to explain the title of this post is to admit to stamp neglect.  Do you have those stamps that you just had to have, just needed to fill that empty spot in your collection?  Well the Houndstooth Background was one of those for me.  I still love it but I don't use it as often as I should.  So this card will be entered in Passion for Papertreys "Inky Love" challenge.  Now the starting point for this card was the very interesting purse below.  The photo is from the Runway Inspired Challenge #23.
My card is really a single layer of white cardstock that I did a partial die cut of a circle.  I masked the area around the circle and stamped with the houndstooth in black. Then rolled the circle to the outside of the card and pinned in place with a mini brad.  Stamped the hello from Papertrey in red ink on the inside of the card to show through the window.  I had some black glimmer cardstock on my desk so I cut a ring from it to frame the little window.

I also thought this followed the Skipping Stones Sketch Challenge too.
 The sketch is below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Hope you will come to visit again!
