A Little Runway Inspiration!

Hey!  Okay, last one for tonight. This card started with the ric#51 challenge and the image below.

Then I used the Sketch Saturday challenge for the layout.
Throw in the Papertrey Make-It-Monday #148 challenge of an image stamped multiple times over one another with various colors of ink and the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge and we have the card below!
Okay, time to clean up my stamp room.  Stay safe and warm!

It's a Three-fer...

Hello again this evening!  Thought I might try another card tonight.  I started with the sketch challenge from Sketch Saturday #292 then added the technique from the Papertrey Make-It-Monday #148 challenge.  Last but not least I will enter in in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge Anything Goes!
Now onto my card...
I started with a card base of PTI white cardstock and die cut the window with a Spellbinders Scalloped Square die.  Marked the window on the inside of card and stamped the onsie from Bitty Baby Blessings stamp set in 3 colors of Stampin Up ink 6 times inking the stamp twice. For a total of 18 images close together.  This is the Make-It-Monday #148 technique.  Then I cut the Bliss Blue strip for the greeting and adhered it over the window, stamped the greeting and added the button accent.

Thanks for stopping by again.  Hope you have a wonderful evening at home!!

SSS Monday Challenge and MIM #148

Hey there!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  It never seems long enough though!  Today's post has 4 pictures of the same card in progression.  I wanted to try the technique that is posted on the Papertrey Make-It-Monday challenge.  You were to take a line image and stamp it 3 times without reinking in 3 colors. I used the word "baby" from the PTI Wonderful Words: Baby set.  I found I have very few line images (I don't like to color).  The 3 colors of ink were all old Stampin Up inks.
So here is step 1.  I like the effect but wanted to try more.  I also stamped the background with Polkadot Basics from Papertrey also on PTI white cardstock.  Next step was to die cut the images with the baby die.
I thought it lost some of it's punch when the darkest pink mostly got cut out.  Sooo I decided to add the die cut back into the card by adhering it to the inside of the card so it would peek out the window.  Then to finish it off I added a little ribbon to the side of the card.
Thought that finished it off and figured I better leave well enough alone.  Thanks for stopping by to visit, Sentimentally Sue.

Make-It-Monday #147

Hello!  Working on lots of cards today. I started with a Soft Stone card base and the large image from the Mini Blooms set stamped with Soft Stone ink. I then took various images from that stamp and inked with a bunch of different colors of Stampin up ink and stamped them on white cardstock.  I trimmed the images and layered them with pop dots from Stampin Up.
I also added the dots of liquid pearls from Creative Imaginations in gold.  I stamped the greeting in Soft Stone and over stamped it with Versamark ink. I then brushed Perfect Pearls in gold over the greeting.

Framed Candles- MIM #146

Hello and Happy Friday to you!
Today's card uses the Angled Background technique on the frame die cut from the Fabulous Frames die (PTI).  I layered the scraps that were laying on my desk, some stamped some printed onto a piece of PTI white cardstock. Then die cut the frame.  The candle die and greeting are from the Wishes Come True set (PTI).  All this was layered on PTI's white cardstock.  I will note that it was a little hard to cut through the white cardstock when it was layered with all the patterned cardstocks adhered.
Thanks for stopping by again,
Sentimentally Sue.
P.S. I forgot to mention I used some crystal effects on the candle flame then covered them with glitter.

PTI MIM#146- Angled Backgrounds

Hi again!  One more for tonight.  Cardstock is PTI white cardstock stamped with Houndstooth Background in various pink and coral inks on a angle.  Then I die cut the frame from Fabulous Frames and stamped the greeting from Wishes Come True

PTI Make-It-Monday #146 Angled Backgrounds

Hello, First I want to say this card idea came from Jennifer McGuire.  She did a similar idea on her blog and I loved the idea and it fit with PTI's angled backgroung idea.  The cardstock is white PTI cardstock.  Stamps are Wonderful Words: Baby.  Stamped the "baby" in five different inks and layered the angled strips to creat the rainbow of colors.
