PTI November Blog Hop

Hello. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving or maybe you are still celebrating this weekend.
We had a nice family time on thursday.
My card today brings to mind the thanksgiving spirit. I am joining the Papertrey Ink November Blog hop. The photo below was our inspiration. I stamped a kraft panel with pumpkin colored ink and a buffalo check background then used a stripe from Super Stripes to over stamp with white pigment ink. Trimmed the panel down and layered on a panel of black cardstock. From the Count Your Blessings set I stamped and embossed the beyond measure on a scrap of black cardstock in white detail powder. Also die cut the blessed from the coordinating die set out of black cardstock. The white hexagon panel was a die from Concord &9th that I cut and mounted the blessed to. The ribbon is hem tape that i died with kraft reinker. Mounted it to the stamped panel with foam tape and added everything to an A2 white card base. Sorry that was a lot of directions and i wonder sometimes if they even get read or do people just look at the pictures. Lol.

Celebrate Tree

Hello.  This was a quick ink blending Christmas celebration card. I started with a Bristol panel and masked off a tree shape and blended some Distress Ink in the masked area. I then diecut the star and celebrate from the panel. I also diecut several more from white cardstock. Stacked and glued the die cuts.
I was also following the Less is More challenge where we were to CASE Susan's card below.

And the My Favorite Things sketch challenge.
Finally the Celebrate challenge at AAA Cards.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Plaid Trio

Hey there. I was working on my final cards for my "30 Days of Christmas" cards over on my Instagram page.  I thought it might be fun to throw in a few challenges too.  Most of the cards are based off of the buffalo check background stamp.

Sorry no instructions for the cards tonight. Just some eye candy. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
P.S. this is the address for my Instagram page.

Inspired by a Snowflake

Hello. Papertrey Ink is having a Create With Us challenge were their designers made a card and you create one also inspired by their project. Below is Betsy Veldmans's card.
She popped her snowflake up with colored fun foam.
Here is my card.

I used royal blue fun foam. Next time I might use two layers of foam so the color is more visible. Stamps, cardstock and dies are from Papertrey Ink. Ink is Distress Ink.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Trees, Trees and More Trees

Happy Sunday to you! I am still messing around with My Favorite Things color challenge and the Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up challenge.

Both cards started with a 110 lbs white cardstock stamped with MTF Bold Diagonal Stripe background stamp and the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backdrop stamps.  I the die cut the trees with Christmas Tree Change Up die set from Papertrey Ink. The banner is die cut with Concord & 9th ribbon banner die. I used foam tape to pop up the banners and the small trees. The trees were all sprayed with Shimmer Spritz.

Ellen's challenge was to use both My Favorite Things and Essentials by Ellen products.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Pastel Wishes

Good morning! I was up early this morning so I thought I would stamp a few cards before getting ready for church. I was working with My Favorite Things color and sketch challenge along with Ellen Huston's Mix It Up challenge.

Ellen's challenge involved using stamps from both Essentials by Ellen and My Favorite Things. I used the MFT Bold Diagonal Stripes background and the EbyE Wonky Backdrops.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Ink Blending

Hello. I am playing with the Altenew November Inspiration Challenge, Addicted to CAS leaves challenge and the ink blending challenge at AAA Cards. First the inspiration photo.

For my card I started with a Strathmore Bristol panel and masked off the area with post-it tape. Then used Distress Ink and blended the three colors together. I stamped the greeting from the Painted Poppy set and embossed the leaves from the Fantasy Floral dies into the panel with my Cuttlebug. Mounted the panel to a chocolate A2 card base.
