AAA Cards Challenge #250

Hello. How do you feel about inking blending at least 3 ink colors? I love it and hope you will join the team for this challenge on the AAA Cards Challenge blog.

Using a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock and blending brushes, I blended Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Passion and Rich Razzleberry ink (Stampin' Up ink). I then die cut my panel with the Sizzix Bold Text #1 die and trimmed at an angle. I added the striped washi tape to tie in my sentiment strip from Creative Expressions Wordie Sentiments:Thank You. After mounting the blended panel to a top folding white card base, I popped up the greeting strip with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue

CASology #381: Memories

Welcome to 2021. Today we have a new challenge up on the CASology Challenge Blog

So looking back we will share our memories.

This card uses a technique I like to call ink layering to create a one layer card that feels like it has dimension. I used the Stampin' Up! set Travel Post stamped in cocoa, linen and cranberry ink. Then I over-stamped the greeting in Versamark ink and heat embossed with clear detail powder. Finally rounding the corners of my rustic ivory card stock. This technique works best when you use a light, medium and dark ink. I hope you will join us in this challenge of memories.

MIM #45 Challenge-Coloring Embossed Images

Hey there.  I promise this is the last post for today and maybe the whole weekend.  Not sure about the results on this one.  It did kind of funny things to my Copics.  Like white spots on the tips.  My embossing power is really old so that might be part of the problem.  We were to emboss an image with white powder on dark cardstock then color with Copic markers.

Cardstock: Choc.Chip(SU), Natural Ivory,Simply Chartreuce and Mellon Berry background paper.
Ink: White pigment(SU)
Stamps: Button Boutique(PTI)
Extras: Button Boutique die set, natural twill, bakers twine(PTI), Copic markers R22,YG03,BG72

It is a little streaky and the colors are wonky in the picture.  Sweet dreams!  Sentimentally Sue.
