A Little Sketchy...

Hi ya! So my focus was hexagons. The Less is More challenge was to use hexagons on your card. The Passion for Papertrey challenge was to use circles in your project.
The CASE Study challenge uses the card  below as our inspiration.

Stamps: Sketched Shapes (Papertrey Ink)
Cardstock: Soft Stone (Papertrey Ink), Journaling card (Becky Higgins)
Ink: Aqua Mist, Limeade Ice and Enchanted Evening (Papertrey Ink)
Other: staples (Tim Holtz)

Thanks for stopping by,
Sentimentally Sue.

Happy Circles!

Hey there!  So this card started with the Passion for Papertrey circles challenge. Then moved into the Make-It-Monday #120 ombre challenge and then the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I used the Sketched Shapes stamp set from Papertrey ink along with their fabulous white cardstock.
I used Autumn Rose ink from PTI and the balance of the colors are from Stampin Up.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you enjoyed the ideas!

Dad's Day

Hey there!  It is Father's Day weekend so I thought I better get with it.  This card started with the CTS #32 challenge.  Then I added in the Papertrey MIM #120 Ombre challenge too.  I used PTI kraft and white cardstock. The stamp sets are also from PTI, World's Greatest and Simple Stripes Background.  The ink was a really old Kaleidacolor pad from Stampin Up called Late November.  These dye based pads created an ombre blending of ink right on the pad. Layers were popped up with foam tape to give diemention.  Thanks for stopping by!  Sentimentally Sue

A Splash of Nectarine...

Hello and Happy Friday to you all!  Today's card started with the Play Date Cafe's color challenge below.
Then I am into the ombre thing right now so the card will also be entered into the Make-It-Monday #120 ombre challenge.  I started with Papertrey white cardstock and watercolored a scrap with Summer Sunrise and Berry Sorbet to get the peachy-pink color.  I let it dry then stamped the greeting from Friends Till the End stamp set in black ink.  Die cut the word bubble with a Hero Arts die.  I used the same die to cut the white layer and stamped the grateful greeting from the same PTI stamp set.

Then layered it all up with some embroidery floss.  I used the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge for the layout on this card.  Love the sketch and will use it again!

Thanks for stopping by to visit!  I would love to hear your comments, Sentimentally Sue.

Ombre Banner

Good evening!  This is the last one for tonight.  As you can tell I am loving the ombre stamping challenge from Make-It-Monday #120. Also I am going to enter it in the Banner & Flag challenge at CAS-Fridays Blog.
I started with white cardstock from Papertrey and the Sketch It set also from PTI.
The ink is from Stampin Up. Twine and brad from Martha Stewart.

Sweet dreams all,
Sentimentally Sue.

Pink Ombre

Yes, I am back again.  I do love this technique.  So I started with the picture to the left.  It is from Pinterest.  I did a search for ombre and this dress came up.  I am going to enter this card in the Make-It-Monday #120 challenge and the Passion for Papertrey circles challenge.

The cardstock and ink are from Stampin Up.  Stamp set is from Papertrey, Sketch It, and the twine is from Martha Stewart.
Thank for dropping by,

Papertrey MIM#120 and Play Date Cafe#185

Hi again!  So I started with the Play Date color challenge.  Magenta, Grey and Teal.

Then through in the Make-It-Monday Ombre challenge.

Thats all, single layer stamping!

Ombre #2

Hey there!  So this next card uses the Papertrey MIM #120 Ombre technique again in a cool colorway.  I used Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides and Ripe Avocado ink.  I used the Sketch It set with PTI white and Aqua Mist cardstock.

Super Simply Stamping from Sentimentally Sue!
See ya again later.

Ombre baby!

Hello!  It has been forever since I have stamped.  It feels good to get back to the paper and ink.  Not to mention the rubber!  So the cards I have made this afternoon were using the Papertrey MIM #120 Ombre stamping technique.
I started with PTI white cardstock and the Wonderful Words: Hello stamp set and die.  Ink was all from Stampin Up. I die cut 5 layers of "Hello" from cardstock and glued them together for the elevation on the hello.

Thanks for stopping by...be back with more later!
