Last one for tonight.  Yes, I have been gone for awhile and not had a chance to stamp so tonight I am getting back into my groove.

I started with the PlayDate Cafe #150 challenge for my color way. Flamingo, Honey and Coffee.

Then I moved onto the Skipping Stones Sketch challenge #147.

Lastly I am going for the Less is More "Take 3"
challenge.  I am using
Week #28- Use Ink
Week #33- Anything Goes
Week #45- Let it Snow

Hope you have sweet dreams and thank you for stopping by!

Rose Red Flakes??

Hi again!  I do love to stamp red snowflakes.  I don't know why but I have always loved the crisp contrast.

The color way was taken from the PlayDate Cafe #150 challenge.  The photo to the left was our inspiration.
Then the sketch was taken from the CASE Study #109 challenge.  I love the asymmetrical layout.

Then the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp blog was to use embossing on our project.  I used a embossing folder in woodgrain to add texture. Then rubbed some white ink across the embossing to make it pop.

Thanks for your time today!

PTI Blog Hop #2

Good evening.  One more post for the September PTI Blog Hop.  The challenge was to fabric or felt in a project featuring packaging.
So for this project I chose to make a tag.
I used the Tag Sale #6 die and the Snowflake Medley set.
My color pallete was Pure Poppy, Classic Kraft and Ivory.

Thanks for stopping by, Sentimentally Sue.

PTI September Blog Hop

Hello!  Happy Tuesday to you.  So the challenge for September blog hop was to use fabric or felt in some packaging.  My first project was a small treat or gift box.
I  came up with a pattern, drew it up and tried to execute it.  It looked better in my head. Started with ivory felt, sewed up the sides and lined the felt box with kraft cardstock. Stamped the snowflake in Pure Poppy ink with the new Snowflake Medley stamp set. I used the eyelet from Tag Sale #6 to make the closure on the box cut from Pure Poppy cardstock.  Tied closed with bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will come to visit again!

Kraft Oval Medallion

Good evening!  Hope you are either getting alot done this weekend or lots of rest. Whichever was your goal.  My card for tonight is using my cut apart PTI Medallions Background set for the Papertrey Ink Make-it-Monday challenge.
I am also going to enter this card in the Less is More oval challenge.

Have a great night and thanks for stopping by,
Sentimentally Sue.

A Little Flower Power

Hello there! hahaha  Sorry, I couldn't help myself.  The pattern paper was stamped sometime ago with Happy Hexagons from PTI and I just hadn't used it yet.  When I saw the challenge on Simon Says Stamp for trends (neon, hexagons and chevrons) I couldn't believe my little piece of stamped paper fit it all.
This photo is to be our inspiration for Simon Says Stamp challenge.

Then the CASE Study challenge was to use the card below as our starting point.  So that is where I got the sketch for my card.

I also thought this fits the Moxie Fab "Focal Point" challenge bringing the eye to the circle where the flower rests.
Thanks for dropping by for a bit!

Twinkle, twinkle...

Hi again!  Here I am loving this color combo that I never thought I would and would have never thought to use as a Christmas card. And this is the second one tonight.  The color combo came from the Playdate Cafe #149 challenge.
Now this weeks Make-it-Monday challenge was to cut our stamps apart to use them.  This was so hard for me to do but to create the border across my card I needed to.  The picture below was the portion I cut off of my background stamp Medallions.

And I am also going to enter the Moxie Fab Asymmetry challenge.
Cardstock: White Papertrey Ink
Stamps: PTI
Ink: PTI
Ribbon: Stampin Up
Die: Spellbinders
Thanks for sharing part of your evening with me,

Black & White plus Red

Hey there, me again.  You know me when I get a chance to stamp I go a little challenge crazy.  So the first challenge this card meets is the CAS-Friday #70 " black and white plus a color challenge (I chose red).

Then I wanted to enter the CASE Study #108 sketch challenge.  The card below was our inspiration.

Thanks for dropping by...

It's a 3-fer!

Happy Friday to you!  I am starting to think about Christmas ideas.  I started with the colorway from Playdate Cafe #140 challenge.  A very unique color combo for Christmas.  Stamps and dies are from Papertrey Ink.  Ink is from Stampin Up.

I am also going to enter it in the Simon Says Stamp "TRENDS" challenge using chevrons in my card.

And last but not the least my card will be entered in the Moxie Fab movement challenge.  I think the flow of snowflakes give the eye movement across the card.  Thanks so much for sharing part of your day with me!

Little Blossoms

Hello.  As promised, I am back before a week has passed.  Today a made a sweet little 4.25 by 4.25 square card.  I am going to try a new challenge at Skipping Stones blog.  It is a sketch challenge.  Now I did move the greeting to the top of the flowers because I thought the leaves would look silly up there.  My colorway is from the Playdate Cafe challenge.  Navy, Peach and Stone (gray).
I started with the Soft Stone cardstock from Papertrey Ink.  The stamp set is also from them.  I die cut the flowers and leaves in a 4" square piece of cardstock with the corners rounded.  Then laid it over my base card and carefully traced the images through the holes with a pencil. This gave me the lines to stamp within.  Navy and peach ink are from Stampin Up and the Soft Stone is from PTI.  After stamping I erased the pencil and mounted the diecut layer with foam tape to pop it up.
Sketch and color way are below.

I am also going to enter this in the Simon Says Stamp "Just Put A Stamp On It" challenge. I am also going to enter this in the Moxie Fab "Repetition" challenge too.
Thanks for stopping by!

Simple Foliage

Hello, So there is no excuse for my absence but I will give you one anyway.  We are harvesting our crops.  It will be good to have this very dry year behind us.  God has truly blessed us with a decent crop in spite of the no rain in July and August.  So on to the cards for tonight.  The first card is for the "Less is More" single layer foliage challenge.  I used PTI white cardstock, Stampin Up dye ink and stamp sets from PTI also.  The aqua splashes are made with some white craft paint thinned with water and colored with reinker. Then I put it in a mini mister bottle and spritzed the card.

The second card is going to be entered in the Embellish Trees Color Challenge.  I used the PTI white cardstock and stamps.  Swirled the pale yellow with a sponge in the background to give the effect of the sun shining through the branches of the tree.  Mixed up the aqua paint to spritz across the card and mounted it all on a white base card popped up with foam tape.

The photo and colorway I used for inspiration is below.

Thanks for stopping by!  I will try to do better at posting this week.
