Two Cards with Different Views

Hey there. I received a new, sweet stamp and die set this week, Dainty Florals from Altenew. I also am pretty in love with this pink, purple and orange colorway of this month's Inspiration Challenge.

The Bubble Wrap stencil became the perfect grounding point.

So my first card had plenty of open white space but my second card gave me a chance to play with some watercolor. I used the Leaf Canopy set to create the card with Distress Ink.

Rows of Posies

 Hello and happy summer to you! My flowers have really started to pop outside in the last few weeks. I thought I might use the inspiration outdoors to create one more card for Altenew Inspiration Challenge.

My card uses Altenew Simple Shapes XL and the Bold Thanks die set. I wanted to play with the Freshly Made Sketch weekly challenge too. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is all about "Bright and Cheerful" and this card fits that bill.

 

Manly Card for Challenges

 Hello. I wanted to take a completely feminine color palette and flip it to a man's card. In this case an anniversary card for my hubby. We will be celebrating 40 years this month. Altenew supplied the color palette.

My card uses one stamp and die set from Altenew,

 Mushroom Greetings.

The mushrooms were colored with alcohol markers, Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.

Playing with Stripes

 Hello. I have made several cards lately using cardstock strips. Today's card was for the new Altenew June Challenge.

I used the Altenew Bold Alphabet dies along with the Indoor Garden stamp set. This was such a fun color palette to work with. The birthday die is from Papertrey Ink.
