Hello and happy Friday to you! Hoping your week went well. Mine was a little bumpy but God was with me. This card was inspired by a photo challenge at Addicted to Stamps.
The photo reminded me of a stamp I had from PTI called Year of Flowers: Mum and the greeting is from Year of Psalms: March.
I started with Strathmore watercolor paper and heat embossed the images in white detail powder. Next I watercolor the images using Distress Inks. I also heat embossed the greeting in white detail powder on cardstock weight vellum. Trimmed and sewed the vellum to watercolor panel. Trimmed the panel down to 4" by 5.25" and mounted it on an aqua A2 card base. I also wanted to enter this in Unikos #42 flower challenge, Word Art Wednesday, Simon Says Stamp Add a Sentiment and Happy Little Stamps bloom challenge.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the delicacy of your card, the vellum sentiment is a wonderful touch as it adds interest but doesn't take too much focus away from the beautifully coloured flowers. Thanks so much for sharing and joining in on the Uniko Challenge. Hugs Bev x
