Happy Monday to you. The week started off good I hope. I wanted to create a card that focused on "stamping on texture" (PTI MIM #74). I started with an embossing folder and stamped right on it with gold ink then ran the folder through my Cuttlebug with Vintage Cream cardstock. Then quickly heat embossed the text with gold detail powder. Mounted the panel on a card base of Vintage Cream. Stamped the greeting from Stampin Up on a scrap of cardstock and heat embossed it also. Popped up the panels with foam tape to give more contrast.
The "Less is More" challenge this week was to make a card with a lot of white space and use gold as your focus.
The CAS-ual Fridays challenge was to make the text be a focus in your project.
