Hey there! Okay, this is what really speaks to me as summer. I think of a quilt on the clothes line and kids flying kites in the sunshine. I remember making our own kites with tails and flying them. Also one of my favorite things to do it hang clothes out to get that fresh smell. Especially sheets.
So I used Vintage Cream, Clasic Kraft and Happy Hexagons. Bakers twine is Martha Stewart and ribbon is from Stampin up. Here is our color inspiration. Beautiful flowers!
I am also going to enter this in the Moxie Fab Hooked on Hexagons challenge.

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! That kite with the ribbon tails is so sweet! And it reminds me of my Dad making us kites from newspaper and sticks from a tree in our backyard. Then he would rip up a cloth diaper or an old piece of clothing to make the tails! Thanks for inspiring that memory with your beautiful post!
