Playing with a Palette

Hello. I have had a heavy heart this morning as I think of the homeless. It has been so cold and snowy in Iowa that I can't imagine what they are doing. If you think about it say a prayer for them today. Where we live this is not much of an issue but I am sure in the bigger cities it must be.
Okay onto other things. My card today started with the challenge on A Blog Named Hero. It was a color palette and theme of Love is in the Air.

My card is a 110 lbs, top folding, white A2 card base. I stamped the Hero Arts scalloped circle after inking it with four colors of Distress ink. Then stamped the Thankful For Your Friendship sentiment, also from Hero, in Versafine black ink. The YOU was stamped in the same ink and heat embossed in Clear powder. The thin black stries were from a Concord and 9th set, Joy. I finished it off with a few black Nuvo drops. My one layer card with the focas on a corner sentiment fits both of the challenges below. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
