CASology #371: Pool

Hey all and welcome to July 2020!  Our brand new challenge over on the CASology Challenge Blog for the month of July is...



Now here again I have no pool stamps but I could just here Jennifer McGuire talk about "pool" ink. So I started by masking and stenciling some "pool" waves. Then hand cut a rescue ring from orange card stock and did a little stenciling on it with orange ink, tied on some black bakers twine and glued it to my card front. I stamped the sending prayers in Versafine black ink with the Vanilla Verbage set from Paper Smooches on a scrap of white card stock and mounted it to the card front with foam tape. Finally I mounted the panel to a white card base with fun foam tucking the end of the twine between the layers. I kept all my images to just a third of the card front to keep it CAS.

  1. what a clever way to make the water ring and added the dimension behind it works so well. Love the use of the twine x

  2. Water levels in pools drop every day as a result of evaporation and people coming in and out. If the water is too low, pool pumps and filters cannot function properly. Swimmingpool
