Happy 4th of July to you!
These cards started with another rainbow ink panel that was laying on my desk. I had blended Distress ink on some Bristol Smooth cardstock and not used it on anything yet. When I saw the rainbow challenge over on the Pinkfresh blog I decided their light bulb in the Shine set would be perfect.
I started with a 110lbs white, top folding card and cut the radiating rays from the front. Then stamped the greeting in Versafine black ink. I then die cut the bulbs from the rainbow panel and stamped the bulbs. I used a Wink of Stella pen to move the color a little in the heart and flower. Popped them up with some yellow fun foam and glued them in the center of the rays.
My bulb is definitely framed by the rays.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
Love your lightbulb moment cards. And that die cut you used to frame them is fabulous. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards Sue and I really love the little details inside the lightbulbs as the filaments. A brilliant way to use up that already inked rainbow panel. The framing is a bit lush too. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
