Hey and happy Friday to you. So you know how you just get an idea in your head and you have to let it out? Well this card was it. From the time I saw the inspiration collage the soft blending of those colors was stuck in my head. Here is the Pin-Sight photo from the CLASSroom.
Below is my card.
I started with a piece of Bristol Strathmore paper. Taped it down to my mat and wet it totally. Then used my Kuretake watercolors to paint the stripes. Mixing and letting the colors bleed into each other. Dried the panel with my heat gun and trimmed down the panel to 3.75 by 5". Then I die cut the Prize Stag and stars from Essentials by Ellen. Greeting is a die from Echo Park. Lastly I put a bunch of foam tape all over the back and mounted it to a A2 white card base.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
P.S. The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is anything goes so I will enter this card there too.
