Summer School: Day 2

Hey there. Todays summer school lesson was about using primary colors. This is not a color combo I reach for so it was a good stretch me.
My card started with a piece of Distress watercolor paper and my Arteza Real Brush pens. I spritzed the paper with water and brushed loose squares in the primary colors. Dried it with my heat gun and die cut the flowers. Added a little Wink of Stella around the flowers. Then die cut the word Thanks from The Stamp Market from black card stock. Stamped the greeting in Versafine ink on a scrap of water color paper. Glued both of these to the card front. I used some striped washi tape on card front and mounted the watercolor paper with foam tape.
I used the sketch for my layout and I think it will fit the Simon Say Stamp Monday challenge of Red, White and Blue too. Also it will fit the CAS on Fridays #136 watercolor challenge. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
