Hello. I have had a busy weekend but I needed to have a little play time today so I worked on a couple of sympathy cards. I noticed my stock of them were gone and I wanted to have a few on hand.
I had just received the Uniko Beautiful Blooms set in the mail and wanted to play with the AAA Cards bingo challenge. I followed the first row down to create my card. I heat embossed the images with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder then water colored them with Arteza brush pens on Distress watercolor paper. I trimmed the panel down and mounted it to a top fold, A2 white note card. Then heat embossed the greeting from Papertrey Ink on a scrap of white card stock and mounted it with foam tape sandwitching some gold thread to the card front.
My second card is pretty straight forward. I die cut the Tim Holtz floral spray out of a Kraft card stock panel and mounted it to a top fold, A2 white card base. Then heat embossed the same greeting on another scrap of white card stock and mounted it with foam tape holding the gold thread in place.
Both cards followed the sketch and May flowers challenges. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

ReplyDeleteThis caught my eye in the AAA gallery and I had to come take a closer look, Sue. I love the loose watercoloring with the gold embossing. The other card is a great take on the CTS sketch, perfect for a sympathy card too.
