Hello. Well we made it to hump-day. Hoping your week finishes strong.
Today's card started with a piece of Strathmore water color paper that I spritzed with Distress Stain spray. I then die cut the two squares with a stitched square die. Then used the butterfly dies from the My Favorite Things Beautiful Butterfly set to cut the panels. I stamped the greetings from the Papertrey Ink Scripted set in pink ink and heat embossed with clear detail powder. Mounted the squares with Elmers blue and popped up the butterflies with foam tape to a top folding A2 card base cut from the same water color paper.
This card will be entered in the My Favorite Things sketch challenge, the CAS on Sundays tic-tac-for challenge (bottom row) and the Simon Says Stamp "bright and cheerful" challenge.
Thank you for stopping by, Sue.
Oh I love this pretty card with those lovely splatter squares! Such a neat design - especially with the added butterflies!
ReplyDeleteI'd love for you to link up to the Cropstop blog where it's always "Anything Goes" as long as you use a product or two from one of the companies they carry in the store. (You did!)

Bright and cheerful? Yep!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a stunner. I love the idea of using splatters confined to die cut squares and keeping the background neat. And the butterflies that pop on it, beautiful. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
