Hello. I was checking out the June color trends challenge over on the CLASSroom blog and the row of little vases caught my eye. I love when I don't have a stamp and it challenges me to create the look with out the vase.
So I started with an 110 lbs white top folding card base. I stamped one of the dots from Essential by Ellen Bokeh Dots in the colored ink then rolled the edge in kraft ink. By making a light pencil line on the card I could get the vases to line up straight. Then masking the top of the vase I stamped the popsicle stick to create the vases neck. I the masked the vase and stamped the flowers from The Stamp Markets Birthday Wishes set in charcoal gray ink. The greeting is also stamped in the gray ink. Finally I coated the top of the vases with Wink of Stella.
It is so hard to get the shimmer to show up in photos. I will also be entering it in the Simon Says Stamp "anything goes" challenge.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
These are brilliant and had I not known from reading I would have thought they were little vase stamps. It's a gorgeous clean crisp card. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a kind comment, much appreciated x
