Hey there. I keep telling myself that I am done making Christmas cards and then a new idea pops in my head...
Today's card is a single layer, top folding, mostly white card. It was one of those that I was trying to challenge myself to think outside the box with my stamps. I used the line stamp from The Stamp Market Birthday Wishes set to create the square for the tree cut out. I used two colors of green and two of blue moving the stamp just a bit each time I stamped it. I then die cut the tree from the Honeybee Stamps Stacking Pendants. Finally added the greeting from the Hello Bluebird Typed Christmas set. Sometimes it is the simplest cards that just tickle me.
Simon Says Stamps challenge this week was Anything Goes, Less is More has a single layer holiday challenge going and AAA Cards challenge was mostly white. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
What a clever and effective idea! Looks great:)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I seem to keep making Christmas cards too, but hey, it's fun. Thank you for playing at AAA cards
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Sue. Love the colours of the striped background. Great idea to die cut the tree from it... adds cool interest and dimension. Thank you for joining us at Less is More. x
