Hello. It is time for a new challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge spotlights My Favorite things stamps and our theme is "Have a Heart".
I started with a Tim Holtz watercolor panel and my real brush markers. Wetting the surface of the paper I blended the colors out with a waterbrush. Then die cut the Echo Park Heart Confetti die from the panel after I trimmed it down to 3.75" by 5". I glued the panel down to a Neenah 110 lbs white, top folding card base. The greetings are from the My Favorite Things set From The Heart. I stamped them on a scrap of white card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed them down. The sentiment strips were mounted to the card front with foam tape. I took five of the hearts and glued them together to add in the heart hole as an accent.
Sooo... a quick second card was in order. I took the cut out hearts from above project and glued them to the front of a top-folding white card base then ran them though my die cut machine with the Lawn Fawn Stitch Borders dies. Using the same MFT greeting set, I stamped a strip of lavender card stock with black ink and popped it to the card front with foam tape.
Come and join the fun and you will have a chance to win a $50 gift voucher from the fabulous Simon Say Stamp Store.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
