Good Friday morning all. Do you sometimes feel you are all thumbs? When working with small dies I just don't have the dexterity to place things as I would like. I really need to get a pair of those tweezers that hold things without your hands pressure. Okay on to today's project. Today is the blog hop on the Papertrey Ink blog and our inspiration photo is below. When I first saw it I immediately thought of the PTI Modern Background stencils.
Taking a top folding, white card base I masked off the stencil and using my Versafine black ink I sponged over the stencil breaking up my card into a little less than a third. I then die cut the Block Alphabet also from PTI from brushed gold, pink and light blue card stock layering them together and gluing them to the card front. I then stamped the sentiment strip from the My Favorite Things From The Hearts set in black ink. Mounted it with a little foam tape and adding a few gold drops for accent.
So this card fits the Make it Monday "lotsa Letters" challenge, Uniko's "love" challenge and the AAA Cards challenge also. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
