Watercolor Butterflies

Hey there. I am sad to say this is my final post for the guest designer spot on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. It has been so much fun!
https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/

In this weeks challenge we are spotlighting Impression Obsessions products with an "Anything Goes" Challenge.
My card uses their beautiful set Watercolor Butterflies. All of the stamps I used on today's project were contained in that set. I started with a 4 by 5.25" white Neenah 110lbs panel. I positioned the butterflies in my Tim Holtz stamp platform and inked them up with Distress ink. Spritzed them with water and stamped them. I then cleaned the stamps, leaving them in place and inked them again with Versamark. Stamping them and heat embossing them with clear opalescent embossing powder. Then using an ink blender and the Distress ink I covered the panel with Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon. I sprinkled water over the panel and blotted off the excess. Stamped the greeting in Versafine Onyx Black Heat embossing the "blessings" with SSS clear detail embossing powder. The butterfly panel and blessings were both mounted to an Neenah 110lbs, top folding card base with foam tape.
My second card uses Distress Ink again. I inked the butterflies and spritzed them with water stamping on a 110 lbs, white top folding card base. When dry I stamped the greetings in light gray ink. I die cut four light gray "Hope" from the Simon Says Stamp Hope die. I coated the hope with Wink of Stella. Then attached it to the card front. Finally added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops.

My third card started with the same Distress Ink and a scrap of white card stock. I used a darker gray ink on this one. I placed a piece of vellum over the white card stock and attached it to the back of the white stamped piece by folding over the top edge. I used the same hope die and layering it over the vellum. The sequins are from Studio Katia and have a drop of Nuvo Chrystal drops in the center of them. Greeting is from the Tiny Words sets. Then mounted it to a pale pink card base with foam tape.
Simon is giving away a fabulous $50 gift voucher to one luck card maker for the Simon Says Stamp Store.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
