More Collage

Yay, it is Friday!! We are bracing for a storm to roll through the plains today. I have heard anywhere up to 9" of snow and winds. Along with highs in the teens. I just bet you want to come see a little of Iowa about now, huh? Well I was planning on nesting inside this weekend and started off with a little creating this morning.

This card has so much going on I would be writing for days describing it all. Needless to say I was a recycling project for me with a "love" theme. Lots o' layers!
I had made a large tag scrapbook page for someone and they changed their mind about it. The gold splattered, pearlescent page had been laying on my desk since summer. I cut it down to 4.25" by 5.5" to create this tag card. Using a old book page, kindle box and cork gasket material I layered up the front after stamping with some very old Stampin'Up stamps. Adding some gold thread, glitter paper and black Nuvo drops it all came together. This style is so new to me but is fun to play with. I am never sure I am getting it right.

There was a pocket on the back of the tag so I created a little coral insert card to write greeting on. Thanks for stopping by to check out my project, Sue.
