CASology #369: Wind

Hello. There is a brand new cue up on the CASology Challenge Blog today. I hope you will play along with us. Our new cue card is wind.

Todays card is a one layer birthday card. I was struggling with the wind cue and all I could think of was your breath, in some people described as wind...LOL.

So my card started with a top-folding aqua card base that I stamped the greeting from the CAS-ual Fridays stamp set Shenanigans in navy ink. Then the candle from The Stamp Market's Birthday Wishes set in aqua and yellow ink adding a little Stickels to the flame. The wind is from an old Papertry Ink penguin set. Tada that is it. Pretty quick to recreate.

I hope you will join us for this "windy" challenge!

Coffee Wishes

Hello and happy Saturday to you. It is raining here today so it is the perfect kind of day to stay in and create!
There is a fun blog hop going on at the Coffee Loving Card Makers blog so I thought I would whip up a few coffee themed cards.

My first card started with the CASE this Sketch Challenge #373 and the SSS Wednesday recycle challenge. Using an old dictionary page I stamped and embossed the cup from the HoneyBee Stamps Coffee Break set. Then die cut the neutral rainbow from the HB Rainbow Wishes die set. Using the Sassy Coffee set from Technique Tuesday for the greeting.

The second card uses the same set from HoneyBee Stamps with the addition of the Stamploration With Coffee greeting. Pretty straight up stamping and making with a little washi tape. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Crazy Happy...Thanks

Hey there. I hadn't stamped for a few days and had an idea that popped in my head. The card combines a ton of challenges all rolled into one card. I am in love with how it turned out. Bunches of details that still read CAS!

My card uses a ton of stamps and dies from a lot of different companies. Like a equal opportunity employer. Lol.
My Favorite Things Stamps
Essential Sentiments
Thanks Die
Honey Bee Stamps
Coffee Break
Bee Stamp
Papertrey Ink
Happy Hexagons
Echo Park
Hexagon Confetti Die

I was working with the sketch and color challenge over on the MFT blog and adding in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge of "We're All A Buzz". Uniko Studio Challenge this month was Anything Goes with an optional twist of Bright & Happy. I stamped and colored the front with alcohol markers. Then die cut the thanks from the front of the card. It is always a little scary to die cut when your card front is stamped and colored but I wanted the thanks to be a window that would chow the charcoal panel through. Thanks for dropping by. If you have any questions ask away I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks again, Sue.

CASology #368: Plant

Hello. Hoping you day is off to a great start. We have a new challenge up on the CASology Challenge Blog this morning. Our new cue card is...

My card could not be easier to recreate. Just a simple top-folding white note card, scrap of yellow card stock and Versafine black ink. The stamp sets I used were Papertrey Ink's Green Thumb and Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Everyday set. The greeting is popped up with a little fun foam and I added a few yellow dots from Hobby Lobby.

I am sure the design team has some great projects to spark your creativity. Go check them out then I hope you will join us for this fun challenge. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
