AAA Cards Challenge #252

Hello. If you have not started your Christmas cards now might be a great time to get going on them. We have a new challenge on the AAA Cards blog and it might not be a Christmas challenge but a cool blue color palette to work with.

Starting with a top folding white card base I masked off the tree shape and ink blended a soft blue ink. Then using various greetings and colors of ink I stamped the Technique Tuesdays, Jingle All the Way stamp set. The falala is from Keri Bradford Studio, Wrapped set.

Super simple stamping for a fun CAS, one-layer, Christmas card. I hope you will join us for the cool, color scheme challenge!

 

AAA Cards Challenge #242

Hey, hey...welcome summer!! We have a fun moodboard challenge up for you today on the AAA Cards Challenge.

Well people, I live in Iowa. We are kind of land locked and not much for beach to be had. LOL. So I improvised. I do get crabby from time to time and figured this card might come in handy.  I did a bit of watercolor in pale aqua with a splatter of tan to represent water and sand. Then using the Technique Tuesday Mister Crabby stamp. I stamped the greeting and crab in black. Trimming and mounting my watercolor panel to a top folding aqua card base.

Subtle but useful. I hope you will make time to join out "beachy" moodboard challenge.

 

AAA Cards Challenge #241

Hey there. Now those that know me know I love a great cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. lol. So the challenge at AAA Cards Blog is a perfect fit.

I chose the morning beverage for my card. Using the rectangle stamp from the Birthday Wishes stamp set from The Stamp Market I created the color block. Then using dark grey ink I stamped the coffee cup from Honey Bee's Coffee Break set. The greeting is also stamped in grey from the Technique Tuesday set Sassy Coffee. My panel was trimmed and mounted to a teal top folding card.

My hubby occasionally brings me coffee in bed.
