Rainbow Greeting Stripes

Hey there.  We have been on the run for the last few weeks.  I have been posting to Instagam most of the cards I have made lately. Tonight's card was a single layer, top fold birthday card. Using one stamp set from Papertrey Ink I stamped the greeting in a rainbow of ink then just die cut the balloon from Altenew from the front. The balloon string was just drawn with a journaling marker. Walla, clean and simple one layer card.
I will be entering it in several challenges tonight. Patertrey Ink's Make-it-Monday is all about a repeated stamped greeting, AAA Cards is about using a rainbow and Simply Less is More was a single layer card with stripes. I am counting my words as my stripes.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

  1. GREAT idea to make your sentiment your stripes - fab!

  2. So cute! I love all that white space with your rainbow of words. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards challenges.

  3. That is really clever Sue! Love how your words make up the stripes on this card. The die cut balloon is such a great idea too on a one layer. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful card with us at Less is More xx

  4. Creative way to incorporate rainbows and stripes. The cutout balloon window is cute and fabulous as it adds interest to a one layer card. Thank you for joining us at Less is More. x

Pretty in Pink

Hey there. I had a request for a hot pink, floral retirement card. So... I got busy watercoloring a few panels in shades of pink and green...
