CASology #348: Shimmer

Hello. All of our CASology Challenges from here on out will be two week challenges. This gives everyone more time to work on your card ideas. Today's challenge is all about "shimmer" and our fabulous sponsor is STAMPlorations.

My card started with a Tim Holtz watercolor panel that I painted the hearts in a pale pink and yellow. When dry I used the same colors to add a few splatters. Then covered the pink heart with clear Wink of Stella to add my shimmer. When dry I die cut the Love die from Simon Says Stamp from the panel and three from white card stock stacking and gluing together. The greeting is from SSS Tiny Words set stamped on a scrap of white and popped up with foam tape. Close up photos show more of the shimmer.

I am sure the team has some great cards for you to check out. Then come back and share your shimmery card with us on the blog. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

CASology #338: Citrus

Hey there. A little bright and cheery for you today. It couldn't be anything different with a cue like citrus at the CASology Challenge blog.

Sponsor:  Uniko

On my white panel I stamped the frame from Stampin Up', then masked the area around it and stamped the lemonade glass from Provo Craft in the frame. Colored it with markers and stamped the overlapped greeting. Finally I added a little Wink of Stella for sparkle and mounted it to an A2 yellow card.

Now check out the teams great projects. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
