Embellish Magazine and Mojo Monday #232

Hey there!  So I had so much fun with the details on this card.  Embellish magazine is running a Spring themed challenge with the color pallet or inspiration photo below and the Mojo Monday sketch challenge is also below.  The little pinwheels are punched from squares and cut in from the tips to create a pinwheel.  Secured with a mini brad.

The white and corally red colored cardstock are from PTI and the background paper is from "the paperie girls".  The ink and stamps are also from PTI.

Trifecta...okay I tried.

So from my title I am trying to enter 3 challenges with this one card.  MIM #57 at Papertrey, Card Pattern Sketch #156 and Play Date Cafe #122.  So lets start with the MIM challenge.  We were to use the "kissing" technique on a solid image.  I used the coffee cup from Warm Happiness and the Medallion background stamps.  Next was the Card Pattern Sketch that is below and lastly is the color combo at Play Date Cafe.  Which was Charcoal, Ash and Butter.  I used Lemon Tart and Smoky Shadow(PTI) and Going Gray(SU).

Stamps are all from Papertrey along with the cardstock.  Ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Well I have one more card for tonight so I will be back in a flash.

MIM #57 and CASE Study #81

Hello and happy Monday to you.  This card is going to be entered in the Make-it-Monday "Kissing" challenge and the CASE Study challenge with Laura Bassen's card as our inspiration(card shown below).  Color pallet was Classic Kraft, white and black.

I used PTI Polka-Dot background and Woodgrain stamps for the kissing technique on the kraft cardstock using Fine Line and black ink.  The black grosgrain ribbon was also stamped with the Woodgrain background in white ink.  Circle frame it a PTI set called Tag-It's #10 and greeting is from Think Big Favorites #3.

Embellish Magazine and Mojo Monday #231

Okay, I had a little more time so "Why not stamp?" hahaha  So this is for the Embellish Magazine spring color challenge and the Mojo #231 sketch challenge.  Both pictures are below my card idea.  The background paper is one of my favorites.  It is from "the paperie girls".  Love the colors and it fit the challenge at Embellish to a tee.

Ink, cardstock, stamps, button, felt and dies are all from Papertrey Ink. 

The pearl roses are from the Paper Studio.

Shabby Tea Room #104 and MIM #56

Hello.  Last one for today.  This one is also entered into two card challenges.  Shabby Tea Room challenge was call " Colorful Confections" and we were to use aqua, pink and green with a tag.  The inspiration was the candy picture below.  The Papertrey Ink challenge was to use a partial die cut.  I used the 1.75" circle dies to do this.  The greeting circle was from the Tag-it's series and the heart tag was from the set Love Lives Here form PTI.  All cardstock and ink are also from PTI.

CFC #43 and MIM #56

Hey again.  This is a simple card with a lot of punch.  I used the negative from my last card to create this partial die cut image for the Papertrey Ink challenge and my focus is the sentiment for the CAS-Friday challenge.  The background paper is from The Paper Studio, the white cardstock and alphabet dies are from PTI.

I have one more idea to work on so will be back later.

MIM #56 and CFC #43

Hello and happy Sunday to you!  I started a new job this week so my schedule is changing a little.  This card is for two challenges.  CAS-Fridays "Sentimental Reasons" where the focus is on the sentiment or greeting and Papertrey Ink's partial die cut challenge.  I used the lower case alphabet dies from PTI to die cut the "JOY" from white cardstock.  The background paper is Royal Velvet cardstock stamped with the new Medallion background in white and Royal Velvet ink. 

 Greeting is from Memory Box stamps.

The originial idea for this kind of die cutting came from Pamela at "designed by fishy".  Off to stamp some more...thanks for stopping!
