March Blog Hop

Good morning, Papertrey Ink has a blog hop going today with the inspiration photo below as our challenge.
My card started with a Tim Holtz watercolor panel. I stamped the Peonies on Parade in Hibiscus Burst ink then started to water color them with Arteza Real Brush pens. The got way more orange than I intended. I masked the flowers and leaves as I stamped them. After they were all colored in I blended some blue ink around them. Spritz the panel with water to let the colors bleed a little. After the panel was completely dry I stamped the Scripted Sentiment in Versafine black ink and heat embossed it. Finally I added some crystal Nuvo drops and mounted the panel to an A2 card base.

I will also enter this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday floral frenzy challenge.
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
