Raining Hearts

Hey there. I have been gone on a little vacation for the last ten days. We needed to find some sun, sand and surf. Winter has been rough here in the midwest and many other places too. Right before I left I had received an order from The Stamp Market. Man, I love this companies images!
Amy at The Stamp Market uses a color palette that I adore. So with those colors in mind I created two cards.

My card started with a watercolor panel that I wet down, colored the rainbow image with Arteza brush pens and stamped it on the paper. After it was dry I stamped the aqua hearts and the greeting in Versafine ink then I die cut the tag. The card was a pinky-coral top folding base with a few Versamark hearts scattered in the front. I tied some black baker twine through the hole on the tag and mounted it to the card front with foam tape for dimension.
My second card uses the same palette and The Stamp Market stamps. Everything is pretty straight forward although symbolistic. Dots are the rain, a rainbow of color, vellum clouds and stitched lightening. All wishing a friend a bright "hello".

All of these images tie in with the weather which is the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge, Simon's Wednesday challenge is about creating a scene and they also fit the AAA Cards challenge. The cloud cards fits the Addicted to CAS challenge "fluffy".
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
