Quarentine Cards...

Okay, not really quarantined because we are healthy but feeling pretty isolated. So why not just make a ton of cards right?? Well that is what I have been up to. How about you? What has been keeping you all busy?

These are going to be some of my first Christmas cards of the year. Just playing with a new challenge I found. CAS and Christmas plus a little mixed media what could be better!
Both cards were made for the CAS Christmas Card Challenge of Winter Flowers. The pink floral card is also for the CAS Mix Up Challenge using aycrilic paint and the CAS Stencil Challenge with heat embossing.
My card started with a top folding white card base that I stamped with the Stamplorations Joy set in black versafine ink. Then using the Pettite Posies from Papertrey Ink I stamped the mini poinsettas with red and green ink. I added some metalic gold drops to the flowers and just a few drops also spread between the words. Trimmed the card a little and added it to a red panel with gold spotted washi tape along one edge. Clean and simple.

My next card started with another white top folding card base that I stenciled the pink polka-dots in the bottom left corner. I took some light gold acrylic paint and created the brushstroke and some splatters on my card base over the polka-dots. I heat embossd the greeting from Papertrey Ink with gold detail powder on lower right corner. I created the pink poinsettia with dies, watercolors, shimmer mist and liquid gold drops. The glued it on the card front over the stenciling.

The SSS Monday Challenge is all about using a stencil on your project. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

P.S. The card below was also added to the CAS Mix Up challenge too. I posted the info on my Instagram account SentSue.
