AAA Cards Challenge #213

Hey there. Today on the AAA Cards Challenge blog we are playing with the small and few with an Easter/Spring twist.

I had a water color panel that was laying on my desk that I thought might make some fun Easter eggs. So after die cutting the eggs and playing with the layout I decided that that some bunny ears might be in order. Stamp set is Scrambled Eggs from Papertrey Ink.

I hope you will join us for a little Easter/Spring fun!

Hello. We have a great new challenge up on the AAA Cards Challenge blog today. Get ready to represent your country and stand proud!

Using a top-folding white card base I stamped the red stripes using my stamp platform. Then heat embossed the greeting from the same Concord and 9th (Hooray Stamp Set) set in gold detail powder. Then adhering a navy die cut star that I trimmed at the corner. Yea for the USA!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join us for ths challenge, Sue.

AAA Cards Challenge #211

Hey there! Today's new challenge on the AAA Cards blog is CAS plus spring animals. Lets think spring!

On 110 lbs white cardstock, I created a mask by die cutting an egg shape and ink blended the shape. Then using the Stampers Anonymous set Spring Shadows I stamped the bunnies in Versafine black ink. The greeting is from Papertrey Ink.

I trimmed the panel and mounted it to a top folding white card with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join us for a little spring CAS inspiration.

Time Out Challenge #209: Cute

Hey there. I am thrilled to be guest designing on the Time Out Challenge. The challenge is "cute". I will honestly let you know cute is not usually in my wheelhouse but I love a great challenge and Time Out has some of the best.

This no-layer card was quick to put together. I used the Colorado Craft Company, Frankly Mini set to stamp Frank and the greeting in Gina K amalgam ink. Then colored him with alcohol markers.

I thought that it would be fun to create a "Francine"

Thanks so much for stopping by, Sue.

AAA Cards Challenge #210

Hey there. We are having one of my very favorite kinds of challenges on the AAA Cards Challenge this fortnight...a sketch.

My card was created using my stamp platform. By using this tool I was able to create a seamless, three colored egg. Also a nice, dark chocolate bunny silhouette. Egg image and greeting are from Papertrey Ink, Scrambled Eggs and Bunny was from a My Monthly Hero kit, April 2021.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

AAA Cards Challenge #209

Hello. We have a new challenge up for you on the AAA Cards Challenge blog. You will visually be dividing your card in 9 rectangles and fill one of them with your favorite animal.

I chose the bottom right to put my cat and dog. I would have probably picked a horse but this is the animal stamps I had. LOL. I used a stamp set from the My Monthly Hero kit April 21. Pretty simple stamp layering with heat embossed sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

AAA Cards Challenge #208

Hello. We have a fun new challenge over on the AAA Cards Challenge blog. We are playing with black, white plus any color of your choice. I picked red.

I seldom use a colored card base so for this challenge I thought I would stretch myself a little. When I do use a dark card base I always add a white liner to write my personal message on. I die cut a white heart then stamping my message bubble in red and greeting in black from the Papertrey Ink Grand Ampersand set. I added a hole, bakers twine and some foam tape and placed it on my black card base.

Here is a quick reminder of the definition of CAS and thank you for stopping by, Sue.
