MIM #46 Die Cut Tag

Good afternoon.  This NEEDS to be my last post before Christmas.  I have baking and cleaning not to mention wrapping some presents to get done.  I think I am addicted, ya think??  After looking at the tags in the make-it-monday challenge I thought "I can do better".  So here we go.  I felt a little crazy with all the dies out on my desk but I liked the final product.

I used the seed packet for the envy and then punched a window with a 1 3/8" punch.  Backed the window with acetate and inked the edges with Chai ink.  Diecut holly from a page of an old hymnal and inked up them with Ripe Avocado.  Wrapped red bakers twine around and tided with a Oceans Tide button.  Placed a few red gems on button.

Next I die cut a folded piece of white cardstock and background paper with the button card die.  Opened the cardstock and die cut the 2 and 5 through one side of the cardstock.  Then slip the background paper in between the layers of white folded tag so the background paper will show through the 25 window.

Stamp the back with the greeting and snowflakes.  Diecut the ticket strip out of Ocean Tides cardstock and stamp with some snowflakes.  Staple all the layers of the folded tag with the ticket folded on the top to act as a tab.  There I hope I didn't miss anything.

Supplies are all from Papertrey Ink with the exception of the punch(SU) and the mini staple(Tim Holtz).

Okay I am off to the kitchen to get some baking done this afternoon.  May you all have a Merry Christmas!!
