Time Out Challenge #151 Reminder

Hello. This is a quick remider and a little more inspiration for the challenge up on the Time Out Challenge blog. I am doing a guest designer spot for this fun challenge.

We are celebrating Uniko's Birthday. My card started with a 4" by 5.25" white panel that I stamped with Avery Elle's Circle It stamp set in six colors of Distress ink. I then drug my Versamark pad over the panel top to bottom and embossed with glitter embossing powder. I then die cut the party die from My Favorite Things from the panel and three more times from white card stock. After gluing the words together I coated it with stickles and added a few more drops over the confetti dots. I popped up the panel with fun foam to a top-folding white card base.

I hope you will take some time out to create a card and play with us. Thank you for stopping by, Sue.

CASology #362: Tall

Hey there. Are you up for a new challenge today. The CASology Challenge blog has just the ticket for you today with our new cue card.

Tall...what comes to mind for you? I came up with a tall card stamped with a tall animal. My card started with a 6.5 by 6.5" piece of white card stock that I scored at 3.25" to create a tall card. Then using the stamps from the Me & My Big Ideas Baby Boy set I stamped along the one edge leaving plenty of white space. That is it. Pretty clean and simple.

I am sure the design team has some fun ideas for you too. Go check them out. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Five in One Birthday

Hello. This card was made to roll five different challenges in one card. Colors, sketches, pattern paper and birthdays.

My card started with a top folding white card base that I rounded the two left corners. Then adhering four 3/4" strips of dot paper to a piece of tying paper I die cut the Celebrate Speech Bubble from My Favorite Things. I cut it apart and glued to the card front. I die cut four sets of "you" letters from The Stamp Market's Chunky Alphabet out of black card stock then glued them together. Glued the letters to the card front filling the gap. Using a scrap of black card stock I stamped and embossed the "Happy Birthday" from the Essential Sentiments from MFT, trimmed down and attached to the card front. Finally I added a few puffy hearts that I had picked up at JoAnn's dollar area.

The card fills the color and sketch challenges at My Favorite Things along with their birthday "heart" challenge this month. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge was to use at least two background papers and Uniko Studio is celebrating their 8th birthday. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Timeout Challenge #151

Hey there! I am joining the talented Timeout Design Team today to celebrate a new challenge and Unikos' birthday!
We are inspired by words today. Use the phrase for your inspiration for a card, "It's your birthday, so party and throw acts of kindness around like confetti!" .

My card started with an white, top-folding card base that I stamped with Avery Elle's Circle It stamp set. I used Versamark ink and white detail embossing powder to heat emboss the confetti across the top of the card. I then embossed the greeting from the Stamploration's Power of Words stamp set on a white tag. Using blender brushes to blend the distress ink across the tag. I added Wink of Stella to give the balloon and confetti a little sparkle. I then added Nuvo Crystal glaze over the balloon, tied on the twine and popped up the tag with fun foam on the card front. I hope you will join us in the fun "Inspired by Words" challenge.

Happy 8th birthday Uniko and
thanks for stopping by, Sue.

CASology #361: Sweetheart

Hello and happy Feburary to you. We are working on a sweet, new challenge on the CASology Challenge Blog today.

I started with a top-folding, white card base that I stamped toward the center with Delicata Champagne ink and the SU By Definition stamp. Then taking a scrap of red card stock I die cut the scallop rectangle and with a heart window. I stamped and heat embossed the greeting in gold detail powder and mounted to the card front with red fun foam.

The team is sure to have some fun cards for
this sweetheart challenge.
