All Rolled Into One

Hey there. Hoping all is well in your world. I decided to push myself to roll a bunch of challenges into a simple one layer card. I started with The Stamp Markets Chunky Outline and Solid alphabet sets, then added the My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments and finally Stamplorations Beautiful you set. This was all stamped on Neenha solar white card stock. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is anything goes.

Citrus Stripes

Hello. So I am on a serious man kick thing. Which is good because I tend to be short of manly cards and one of my favorite companies it doing two "manly" challenges.
Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge is "It's A Man Thing" and the Wednesday challenge is "Masculine".
Also AAA Cards is doing a one layer with photo prompt challenge. This card it just straight forward stamping. Super simple. White, top folding card base stamped with 5 colors of dye ink. I used two stamp sets Daddy Yo 2 from Paper Smooches and Birthday Wishes from The Stamp Market using the colors from the AAA Cards photo.

I then took that one layer card, trimmed the front into a panel and mounted it with fun foam to a white card base.
Sometimes I just need to add a layer. lol.

CASology #370: Father

Hey there. Welcome to a new challenge over on the CASology Challenge Blog. Today's cue will help us get a jump on those Father's Day cards we have been meaning to get stamped.

My card today is super simple to create. Just start by gathering all you Father's Day greetings together and pick four colors you think will work together. If you ever have trouble with this Pinterest has tons of color palette ideas.

Here again I started with a white top-folding card base that I stamped the images from Paper Smooches Daddy Yo 2 set. When doing this technique I always start in a corner and work out, building up the phrases and images. Below is another example of the same type of card I had stamped previously. I hope you can join us for the fun challenge.

This card was made with the same stamp set and some fab ink blending. I blended the panel then cut it in strips and rotated every other strip. Die cut the tie from the panel and embossed the greeting on vellum to wrap around the blended panel. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Father's Day Deer

Hey there! I made this card a while back but never posted it. One of my very favorite companies Simon Says Stamp is having two manly challenges and a design team call. I would be so honored if I was selected to their design team. My card started with two kraft panels that I blended dye base ink across. Then splattered with a little water and blotting off excess.

I then stamped the images from the Modern Christmas set across the blended panel and splattered it with the nickel ink. After stamping and heat embossing the greeting on a strip of chocolate card stock I sewed it to the stamped panel that I had trimmed down. Then layered on the other blended panel and mounted to a kraft, top folding card base.
