MIM #62 and ric#10

Happy Sunday to you!  So all I have to say is this card had nowhere to go but up.  That is where I started.  I wanted to use the Papertrey Ink "step-it-up" challenge (MIM #62) and the color pallete from the Runway (ric#10) challenge.  Base card was white PTI cardstock with Canyon Clay and black ink.
Next I added the Canyon Clay cardstock and some washi tape from Martha Stewert.  Also gold ribbon was from Stampin Up.

Final card.  Diecut the grad hat and tassel from gold and black cardstock.  Gold brad on hat to finish it off.  I also added a clear gel pen to the greeting to give it a little shine.  Popped it all out with some foam tape.

I tried to get the feel of the inspiration photo with the lines of the washi tape and color pallete.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I'm loving the different versions of your card, especially the first one! The sentiment looks great layered over the woodgrain. Thanks for playing along with the Runway Inspired Challenge!
