Graduated Pink Wash

Hello. I had one more encouragement card I created while I had my paints out. Here again I started with a Strathmore watercolor paper and just did an ombre wash from bottom to top using more water as I went up the page to dilute the color.
Then let the panel dry and gold heat embossed the sentiment on brushed gold cardstock. I mounted the watercolor panel on a A2 brushed gold card base and attached the greeting on it. I will be entering it in several challenges listed below.

The Time Out challenge was #93 for breast cancer awareness.

Thanks for stopping by to visit, Sue.

  3. You’ve done a superb job of that water colour wash background Sue; it’s beautifully vibrant at the bottom and it is lovely to see that the top third of the card is so pale that it can still be called ‘white space’. The sentiment was all that was needed for this gorgeous CAS design. Thanks so much for joining us and letting us see it at Less is More xx
