Pink Tree

Soooo...what do you do when you get new stamps? PLAY!
I had a few more ideas for the Pin-Sight Challenge on the CLASSroom blog.
The top center tree was calling to me. I don't know about you but part of the challenge for me is how I can use the stamp images in nontraditional ways. For my card I used my new Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backdrops to create the needles on my pink tree.
I took a scrap of white cardstock and stamped the border all over it in three shades of pink ink from Stampin Up. The pink stamp piece was also heavily misted with Shimmer Spritz. Then I die cut the tree shape from 110 lbs white cardstock cut to 4 by 5.25". The base is also the same Neenah white cardstock. Stamped the greeting from Technique Tuesday before mounting it with foam tape over the pink stamped piece. Tada, finished. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
