Sympathy for Dogs

Hi. Strange title right?  I was asked a number of years ago to create some pet sympathy cards for someone. Now in all the years I have been making cards, like at least 20 yrs, this was a new request. I dug through my stash and I created a card simpler to the card I made today. This was for three challenges.
Simon Says Stamp Monday "It's a Dogs Life"
AAA Cards movie challenge
CASology "sorry" cue card
My card started with a kraft A2 card base. Then I stamped a very old Stamping Up set called So Very greeting in chocolate chip ink. I die cut the heart from a Papertrey Ink die from red cardstock and punched the paw print with a old hand punch I had (source unknown). I sprayed the heart with Glimmer Mist and glued to the front of the card. Tada! Super simple but I still thought it was cute.

It's A Dogs Life Challenge

When I was thinking of dogs dying, the first movie that came to mind was Where the Red Fern Grows. I balled during that one. Then there was Marley & Me. Lots more crying!
Thanks for stopping by, Sue.
