Sympathy Silhouette

Hello. It is a beautiful, breezy fall Sunday. I am still fighting a rotten cold so I am trying to cheer my self up stamping. Ha, with a sympathy card right? Lol.
I started the card with just a piece of PTI white cardstock blending Distress Ink colors till I was happy with the shading. I then stamped the tree stamp from Hero Arts in Palette black ink. Trimmed the panel down after I heat set it. The base of the card is also Papertrey Ink white cardstock cut for a top fold A2 card base. Greeting is from a set called Ways to Say: With Sympathy from Papertrey Ink stamped in Palette black ink also. I popped the tree panel up with black fun foam before mounting it on my card.
Uniko had a beautiful fall picture as their inspiration photo and Less is More wanted us to use hot/spicy colors for their challenge. I think this fits both challenges. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

  1. What a glorious forest scene with incredible ink blending Sue. The trees look so warm with those super spicy colours for a background. Fantastic amount of clear clean CAS space on this card too! Sympathy cards are so difficult to do but this one is brilliant. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More xx
